Introducing Barner Faith Foundation
Love, Faith, Family, Legacy
The Barner Faith Foundation, Inc. is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to changing lives by faith for generations!
Our housing program, The Colony, strives to promote healthy living for adults aged 65 and over who are active and desire to live their best life!
The independent living senior community creates an opportunity for older adults to contribute their time, gifts, and talents while serving in their community making a lasting impact. Combined with our Building Wealth program that extends beyond physical well-being, the importance of intergenerational connections is emphasized. We encourage older adults to spend quality time with their children and grandchildren, foster good health habits, and creating cherished memories that build healthy relationships. Through these endeavors, we aim to cultivate a legacy of love, faith, and family that endures for generations, empowering generations through faith, wellness, and community.

Interesting Fact
Seniors Are Living Longer
And Want to Live in Their Own Place
Seniors are living longer and prefer aging in place, valuing independence, strong community ties, and familiar surroundings. This choice enhances their quality of life, safety, and emotional well-being.

Our Way
Independent Living for Seniors
The Colony is envisioned as an independent senior living community, featuring twelve individual two-bedroom homes on a serene property. Each home is thoughtfully designed to offer comfort, accessibility, and privacy, ensuring residents can enjoy both independence and connection.
Central to the community is The Judah Center, a state-of-the-art facility equipped with an exercise room, fitness room, indoor track, conference room, and swimming pool. The center also houses a chapel for spiritual nourishment, a full kitchen for shared meals, an event room for celebrations and gatherings, and administrative offices to manage programs and support residents.
There will be a state-of-the-art community center on the property fully equipped with an exercise room and a separate fitness room with equipment recommended for seniors, plus an inside track and pool with the option of heating. The center will have a full kitchen, a conference room, 2 classrooms, a Chapel and 2 administrative offices. The community center will also be used as an event center open to the public to rent for events. This will be a way for The Colony to fund some of its health and wellness programs.
