Inclusivity and Financial Assistance
A signature feature of the Building Wealth Program is its commitment to inclusivity—regardless of income level. Recognizing the financial barriers faced by many who seek to change their lifestyles, BFF has established an assistance program. Financial support will be made available to low-income and non-income families and individuals, ensuring no one is excluded from the pursuit of wellness and abundance.
To facilitate this, funding sources such as sponsorships, fundraisers, and individual donations are pursued vigorously. An eligibility criterion is set in place to fairly and transparently determine the amount of financial aid awarded. This commitment to equity transforms the program into not just a service, but a lifeline for those who might otherwise be left behind.
The Building Wealth Program: Health as the True Wealth
Foundations of Health and Wellness
The Building Wealth Program is more than just an initiative—it is a movement inspired by the principle that “our health is our wealth.” Rooted in the scripture 3 John 2, which says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers,” this program serves families and embraces individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
With no age restrictions, it ensures inclusivity for anyone striving to live a healthier, more abundant life. The program takes a wholistic approach, recognizing the interconnectedness of physical well-being, mental health, and financial stability in the journey toward thriving.
BFF understands that the path to wellness often requires more than just knowledge—it requires tangible support. That’s why the foundation actively collaborates with businesses and organizations to provide educational resources, services, and products that empower participants to make informed decisions and adopt life-enhancing practices. Through workshops, seminars, and community events, BFF shares valuable insights on nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, disease prevention, and financial literacy. Guided by faith and collaboration, BFF equips individuals and families with the tools they need to prosper in health, wealth, and spirit, fulfilling the vision of living their best lives.

The Colony: Dignified Housing for Active Older Adults
A Vision Rooted in Faith and Community
The Colony is the second pillar of Barner Faith Foundation’s vision—a housing program designed specifically for active older adults aged 65 and above. This initiative is more than just a residential project; it is a community where seasoned individuals are celebrated for their wisdom, gifts, and continuing capacity to contribute.
Inspired by the spirit of communal living found in Acts 2:42-47, The Colony fosters an attitude and character rooted in faith, generosity, and mutual care. Here, older adults who have chosen to leave the workforce are invited to remain active, using their skills and knowledge to serve others within the community. In exchange for 10% of their income, time serving, residents are provided with affordable housing, and they retain responsibility for their utilities, other bills, groceries, and essentials.
Community Engagement and Funding
The Judah Center also doubles as an event venue, open to the public for rentals. This creates both a vibrant social hub and a sustainable source of funding for The Colony. Additional financial support is sought through grants, partnerships, and donations, ensuring the program’s long-term viability.
Holistic Living Amenities
To ensure residents experience an abundant life, The Colony offers a comprehensive array of amenities. A doctor’s office or clinic on-site provides essential healthcare services, while a grocery store ensures convenient access to daily necessities. A community garden, cultivated and maintained by residents, not only provides fresh produce but also fosters a sense of purpose, accomplishment, and fellowship.
Should a resident require a higher level of care or a live-in aide, The Colony partners with specialized organizations to assist in a smooth transition, upholding dignity and continuity of care.
Peace, Value, and Belonging
Above all, The Colony is a place where older adults are cherished, respected, and empowered to live in peace. The foundation’s commitment to love, faith, and family is expressed in every aspect of the community, ensuring each resident knows they are valued and their legacy celebrated.
